Paradise Is In Peril..

  • Statistics says, the area of Nijhum Dwip is decreasing with the number of her deer and becomes threatening for ecosystem. The dead body of the deer on the bank of the river proves it. Besides, many are trapped in the hand of hunters for its delicious meat and beautiful-costly skin.

  • The fishermen of this island use a kind of net to collect the fries of prawn, which also collects fires of different fishes. These surpluses are not fisheries. On the other hand, in cooperation with a few selfish foresters, some miscreants are cutting down valuable trees and stealing away them.

  • A lot of foreign money can be earned form them. But if it happens such, the forest with all her treasures will lose prosperity one day and deprive the country of a grant benefit.

  • Though the Forest Department
    created a beautiful mangrove
forest in the north of the island,
but the southern part of the island
is still open to receive the first hit
of a cyclone. The island is extremely risky for
    a cyclone attack.

  • At the time of natural calamities the islanders demonstrate immense courage and after devastation reconstruct their homes and resources bases. But a matter of regret is that only One cyclone center for its 20000 Inhabitants.
